Three men appear in court charged with two attempted murders in Boston

Aleksandr Kudriasov, 40, of Glen Drive and Mark Gidevic, 27, of Granville Street were each charged with the attempted murders of Algis Likso and Ramunas Kaleckas at their home in the town at the weekend.

Neither Chris Pye-Smith for Kudriasov nor solicitor Rob Arthur, representing Gidevic, made bail applications for their clients at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court.

They were remanded in custody to crown court by District Judge David Goodman.

But solicitor Mark Hudson representing Andris Apsitis, said to be living in Boston, made a bail application for the 36-year-old father of two who is a factory worker of Latvian descent.

He faces the same two charges as Kudriasov and Gidevic.

The judge refused his application and he was also remanded in custody.

Marina Erte, 32, of Glen Drive, has been charged with assisting an offender. She is yet to appear in court but her case is due before magistrates today.
